We are delighted to have you here and Thank you for being part of our home for your trip in Bangkok. Here we provided you some local trips that might be useful for your stay in the old town.
“ My parent bought this house in 1976 for their living place after marriage. I was born here and spent more than 25 years in this home. After my girlfriend and I returned from our study in the UK in 2014. we moved out and stay at our studio, which is not far from the home. We decided to renovate our home by using our memories and experiences as a raw materials to create a home’s concept.
Our home is located in the middle of the oldest local market in Bangkok old town. This area is known as a local-community that has a market as a center of community. “Trok-mor market”. In the morning time, There is a flea market and fresh market at your doorstep. You could enjoy shopping and getting some local food from the market :D

There are 3 main streets that you will probably find unique street food in our area.
There are more than 20 restaurants around. We’ve already provided you all the restaurants in our local trip on google map
My girlfriend and also her sister both are vegetarian people. They provided some information and some restaurants that serves vegan foods.

We love to discover and explore the market in Bangkok. Exciting atmosphere, Local experiences and delicious local foods that you will probably see when you are there. Trok-Mor market is the one is near to the home. You could spend your morning time walking around and find something to eat.
If you have more time in the morning. We also recommended you to visit Wat Suthat Thepwararam. From 8-9am morning time at the main building. you could hear the beautiful and peaceful sound from Thai monks pray at the main chapel.

It is amazing to walk around this part of the Old Town of Bangkok. Please visit there in the late afternoon and you will have an amazing view of Sunset at the park. This area is closed to Khao-Sarn road so There are many great restaurants and cafes along the street.
Tha Phra Arthit and Santichaiprakarn park
Golden mount is famous for local people but now it became one of the best spot to see the sunset and the paronamic view of Rattanakosin Island/The Old Town. Golden mount is a part of Wat Saket. Recommended to get there in the morning time or in the late afternoon.

This amazing Tha Tien will provide you a new experiences with local stuff and modern restaurants around. This place is one of the most popular location if you plan to have a dinner by the river with the Sunset view.

Museum Siam is the first learning museum under the National Discovery Museum Institute (NDMI) that focuses on creating a fresh experience in museum viewing. This brand new pier in the Old Town. It has been renovated befor the CoVID time and now it is back to open. Many Thai authentic restaurants that you might love to try, are located here. One of them is named “ SAVOEY”, will be on your list if you visit this pier.
Tha Maharaj The Pier
This is a local shopping mall in the old town area. You will find an indoor local market at the ground floor which provides you a variety of local stuff such as foods, desserts and also clothings from local venders. There also has an indoor food court at the 3rd floor named “Bamrung meaung” market.

Rajadamnern Stadium, also spelled Ratchadamnoen, is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Along with Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Rajadamnern is one of the two main stadiums for modern Muay Thai.

We found some local grocery stores in the Old Town. The most popular one is 7/11, which has more than 3 locations around our home.
Another shops that you are able to reach there by walking, is Big C FoodPlace. This shop located at The Old Siam Plaza

Here is our favourite grocery store but it is not located in the Old Town. 6.2 km far from our home but it is worth to get there if you plan to buy more stuff.
